Copy/Cut and Paste

Copy/Cut objects to the clipboard:

Select the object or objects that you want to copy to the clipboard and then press either CTRL and C or select Copy from the toolbar or Edit menu. Pressing CTRL and X, or pressing the Cut tool,  will copy the selected item to the clipboard and remove the original from the 2D view.

 

Paste from the clipboard:

To paste from the clipboard either press CTRL and V or select Paste from the toolbar or the Edit menu.  Images (bitmaps and meta file format) that have been copied to the Windows clipboard from another program (like Paint for example) can be pasted directly into the 2D view.
