Drawing Templates |
Drawing templates is a feature that makes ITL-Inspector 2.0 a very productive and powerful tool.
Templates allows for increased productivity since the templates can be centrally created,
maintained and distributed throughout the organization.A template can be customized for different:
- Customers
- Project Types
- Inspection Criteria's
- Different Design Specifications and Conditions
Switching Templates
An ITL project contains two templates, Inspection and Engineering. Any changes that you make to any of these templates will be saved with the project. To switch from inspection to engineering template simply select either Engineering Template or Inspection Template the menu items on the Template menu. The template that is currently in use will be marked with a check mark.
Creation
The templates are created by switching to Template Edit Mode. To create a template
from an empty page, select the Load Empty Template from the Template menu.Distribution
Template files can be freely distributed to other users of ITL - Inspector.
Import From Existing Drawings
Logos and other drawings can be imported and saved with the templates with ease.
The following file types are supported for import:
- Meta Files (.WMF)
- Bitmaps (.BMP)
- JPEG Files (.JPG; .JPEG)
- PNG Files (.PNG)
- Enhanced Meta Files (.EMF)
- DXF Drawings (.DXF)
Files
Templates are saved as files with the extension .XRW.
